cut llm resume tailoring from 45s to 8s at 1.5¢ per run after benchmarking 6 models on an eval set.
killed intermittent 502s hitting 1 in 4 requests by moving scraping out of the gunicorn worker.
made resume parsing hallucination-proof: the llm returns only line numbers, validated against the source.
engineered 40+ python scrapers across 640+ career sites on 13 ats platforms, lifting recall from 74% to 83%.

tested the vimeo api for download feasibility, then built the database layer that merged to production.
built the db foundation for a fastapi microservice with 5 sqlalchemy models so every ingestion request stayed traceable.
provisioned the schema via alembic and scoped db sessions so any environment could be rebuilt.
prototyped a vimeo download chain (scrape, api, hls/dash) with per-tier fallback so no dead source failed the job.
